FAQs

Who is Lachlan and what's his background?

Lachlan is the founder of Tallow Projects and a second-generation builder. He grew up around residential construction and brings decades of family craftsmanship to every project. His focus is on small, high-touch project loads — running each build personally rather than handing it to a site supervisor — which is why clients deal directly with him from first conversation to handover.

When was Tallow Projects established?

Tallow Projects was established in 2019. Since then we've delivered custom homes, knock-down rebuilds, architectural projects and high-end commercial fit-outs across the Northern Rivers, including completed projects at 64 Shelley Drive Byron Bay, Uki House and the Loco Love Factory in Byron Bay.

What's the Tallow Projects philosophy?

We believe a custom home should feel custom from the first conversation, not just on the floor plan. That means a small project list, the builder on the tools and on site, transparent pricing, premium materials, and treating every client like the only client. The result is a home built around how you actually live — not a template adapted to fit.
